Very good, well-built racing cockpit. I was worried about a potential problem for people who accelerate/brake with the same foot that mentioned in a previous review. I am using a Logitec G29 system and I did not found any problems at all.

The white colour is just perfect and the seat is very comfortable, I am 1.80cm in height and weight 120kg, I fit in it perfectly!

The chair arrived in a box nicely wrapped in bubble wrap. All bolts, screws and keys that you need to put the cockpit together are included along with a comprehensive guide booklet. The screws to bolt on your steering wheel, gear sifter and pedals are also included in the box. In the box, you will also find plastic tightening straps that will help you to run the cables around the cockpit.

You might need to contact them to get an update on your order as the automated emails from sales dept. are not efficient, at least in my case. 48 hours’ delivery wasn't achieved, I placed my order on Friday morning and the seat delivered on Monday afternoon. However, I am very happy with my purchase and I totally recommend it.

One think that it is good to have is a floor mat. I did not order one for my seat as I thought I could use one of the local market but, I am going to order an original Playseat one as I can now see that it will make a perfect combo with this beautiful seat.

Buy it, you will not regret it. :-)

Replaced your Challenge which was comfortable but I wanted to upgrade my :"game". Not quite as good as the Recaros in my Lancer but better than anything else. Our cat loves to hang in it when I'm not playing then I have to fight with her when it's race time. One down on comfort because I'm a big guy, 6'4", and the way I have it adjusted it would be nice if I could tilt the seat slightly to better support my thighs. I'm looking for a foam wedge to make it perfect. Thanks for taking the time to design manufacture, and market this great product!

It's a good seat for a proper price. I'm using the seat in combination with a Logitech G29.


For as far as the seat itself, it's very comfortable, and very easy to put together.
The best part is that you can intergrate the cables of the steering wheel through the frame so they aren't haning loose, and they added some tie-rips aswel so you can attach your cables to your frame.

The reason I bought it is that I wanted a solid seat, and I had the opportunity to try the seat first because a friend of mine has one aswel.

I'd strongly recommend this seat to anyone who wants to buy a playseat. The price is not too high, and the quality is good!
It really enhances the way you play and experience racing games.
I was in doubt for over 2 years if I would buy one, and I haven't had a single regret that I eventually did buy one!


There are only 3 things that are a bit annoying but it's nothing serious, and my personal opinion. Let me ensure that these 3 things did NOT have any negative effect on the whole experience or made me second guess my purchase AT ALL!

- The bar for the steering wheel has a bit of space so it wiggles when you steer (you hardly notice it during racing, you might wanna fill the space up with some hard plastic material)

- If you attach the pedals to the plate, the brake pedal is behind the playseat frame, wich makes it quite annoying to push the brake (you need to put your feet sideways to reach it, and it will start to hurt because it's an unnatural position for your feet) I solved this by placing the pedals a bit more to the left so the frame (of the playseat) is exactly between the throttle/gas pedals, though this doesn't allow you to attach it with 2 socket bolts, but just one. This obviously causes the pedals to go sideways in time. Again, nothing you'll notice during the race (if you screw it on tight), but you need to tighten it every race (depending on how much time you have set to do a race).

- I usually play 1 race weekend (F1 2017) in a row, after that I really need to take a short break, because your buttocks will get pretty hot. Again, this obviously depends on how long you will be seated in the chair.

This is a very quality product. Way better than a wheel stand. However, the center post may be a problem for people who accelerate/brake with same foot. I had to adjust it several times to find a comfortable position. Now, it's not bothering me at all while racing. It would be helpful if they provided instructions on how to use the velcro straps as you can't install the DFGT pedals without them.

Also, keep in mind that whatever this website says, you have to pay your local import tax. If you live in a country where the government is corrupt and try to squeeze every penny you have in your pocket, it's better to calculate first.

Overall, if you buy it, you won't regret it. It will take your sim racing experience to a whole new level.

I have a Thrustmaster t300rs gt racing wheel and bought this chair to mount it on in order to race on my ps4 and pc. This chair has far surpassed my expectations. I have had an absolute blast with the beginning of my new hobby of sim driving. This chair is sturdy (I'm a big guy at 6'4" and 300lbs) and comfortable. I have no issues with my height and the adjustments that it allows for the wheel height and distance, along with the distance to the pedals. I would recommend this product in a heartbeat, and already have.

Der Sitz ist klasse. Es macht schon Spaß damit zu spielen. Was den Spaß ein wenig trübt ist, dass das Fußteil an dem die Pedale befestigt werden etwas wackelt - trotz angezogener Schrauben. Deshalb einen Punkt Abzug in Qualität. Alles in Allem aber ein wirklich feiner Sitz, toll verarbeitet - und sogar ich mit knapp 1,90m Größe passe noch recht gut rein. Klare Kaufempfehlung wenn man mit dem Makel des Fußteils gut leben kann :)

Ich habe mir zum Black Friday das Logitech G920 bestellt. Einen passenden Sitz hatte ich noch nicht. Also googelt ich mich durch das Netz. Es gibt diverse andere Angebote. Tatsächlich sprach mich allerdings nichts so sehr an wie dieser Sitz. Er ist sicherlich nicht der Günstigste seiner Art. Der Teuerste ist er aber auch nicht. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis erschien mir als positiv. Heute habe ich den Sitz erhalten. Der Aufbau war ziemlich einfach. Ich brauchte dafür etwas weniger als eine Stunde. Das Ergebnis kann sich sehen lassen. Sieht toll aus und fühlt sich gut an. Ich, schlank und 182 cm groß, passe sehr gut in den Sitz. Pedalerie und Lenkrad lassen sich gut, passend zur Größe, abstimmen. Dem Sitz liegen sogar extra Schrauben bei, um Lenkrad und Pedalen an den dafür vorgesehen Punkten zu befestigen. Das Lenkrad und die Pedalen von Logitech passen perfekt. Sehr gut. Sowohl Lenkrad als auch Pedale sind nach der Befestigung mit den Schrauben bombenfest. Der Sitz, die Lenkrad- und die Pedalhalterung sind ausreichend steif. Da wackelt nichts. Insgesamt ein tolles Produkt und im Zusammenspiel mit dem richtigen Lenkrad eine tolle Erfahrung. Die vollen Sterne vergebe ich nur deshalb nicht, da ich weiß, dass Playseat noch bessere Produkte im Angebot hat. Sonst gäbe es ja keine Luft mehr nach oben...

I was looking for a good quality set up to use for F1 sim driving.
I looked at various options available and decided that a Playseat was the way to go.

Then came the discision of which one to buy.

The range of Playseat products is excellent and there is someting for all budgets and needs.

I finally settled on the Evolution beause the more upright seating position if better for me personally.

It arrived very quickly and was quie easy and quick to set up.
Build quality is very good and it is sturdy without being too heavy.

I use the Fanated CSL Elite F1 and it fitted perfectly.
I have diven many laps on many tracks and find it is extremely comfortable.

My car control and speed has improved significantly since using the Evolution which is a big plus point for me.
I drive every week in a League race which means I am in the seat for quite some time so it is important to be comfortable to be consistent.

Would I recommend the Playseat Evolution?
Yes I would, and I already have!

I recently brought the evolution white whilst struggling to find a good chair. This chair is perfect for me I love how it feels very similar to the seats in my car. I brought mine with the seat slider and gear shift holder which I would highly recommend to anyone semi serious about doing some sim racing/driving. Moving from a wheel and pedal stand and separate chair to this has been perfect, effortless setup and easy to swap the wheel over. 100% would recommend.

Iv been sim racing a few years, but using a wheel and pedal stand with a pc chair. Desided now was the time to finally get a seat and rig where seat position could be same all the time and so i dont have pain in my lower back if i did a endurance race.
So took the leap and placed my order. Really quick delivery and on time as per the tracker.
The putting it together was pretty straight forward. Id say toughest part is actually getting the pedal and steering colum positions just right but not to difficult.
Seat is lovely both in looks feel and comfort. Since getting the seat in the right positions for me iv even notice my lap times starting to get faster! So even better!
Overall this is a great product which i have no regrets making the leap and getting. If you thinking about this then you should go for it!

Very pleased with my order from Playseat Store, I bought this as a birthday gift for my partner. It was delivered within the 48 hours as promised which I was surprised about due to the ongoing climate. I had tracking updates all the way up to the item being delivered. Playseat Evolution and Gear Shifter PRO review

When the package arrived very shortly after purchase (very fast 48 hour delivery considering it came from another country) I rushed it inside to release it form its box. The wonderful looking seat was packaged perfectly and safely, leaving it impossible to become damaged. I removed the chair from its packaging and with a smile on my face I constructed the fine looking racing simulator. At purchase I was worried of the hours I would have to spend building it; however I soon realised upon installation that this was going to be a very quick task. The instructions were informative and easy to follow. I sat in the seat to test its stability and feel, however found myself struggling to remove myself from the seat due to its sheer comfort. I could sleep in it! I am typing this review whilst sat in it! When using the product you find yourself to feel just like you are sat in a real car, as it gives such a realistic feel, it really is the perfect racing simulator set up, a real 'must have item' for any car enthusiasts. Personally I use a wheel with force feedback (a Logitech G920) and was worried the seat would wobble when the force feedback chirps up like a raging bull, however the whole item is rigid and could take whatever the wheel could throw at it.

To summarise in one sentence I would say: A must have item, rigid, beautiful, comfy and perfect.

Purchasing the seat was simple and quick, you just search your item click on it, add to basket and safely and securely order your fabulous new racing set up. But there is more! You can buy accessories to further improve your already awesome Playseat, for example you could take it up a notch (in terms of realism) and purchase the seat slider which gives you the ability to move your seat back and forth just like a real car! This is also handy if your mates or any visitors fancy a drive on the rig, and they are taller or shorter than you, this is the perfect accessory to easily change the height, so anyone could use it! Also, if like me you have a gear shifter there is the Playseat Gear Shift Holder PRO which is firmly secured onto your Playseat and is adjustable for anyone who wants to use it. The Gear Shift Holder is very stable and refuses to wobble no matter how rough you are with it!

So finally what would I rate this perfect product on a scale of 1 to 10? 1000000000000000 is what I would rate it. It really is the perfect racing simulator from Playseat.

I finally decided to go for it and order myself a playseat, not knowing that 2 days later the whole country would go into lock down due to the coronavirus pandemic! Somehow it still arrived the following week, one day ahead of schedule even, and it certainly has got some good use already during this strange period.

I've had a steering wheel and pedals for almost 2 years now, but due to not having anywhere suitable to mount them and not finding time, I have barely been able to enjoy them. Now thanks to Playseat I finally can do that, and I really am enjoying it so much, maybe even more than I thought I would. I only now wonder why I waited so long to buy one...

Regarding the seat itself, I am very happy with the product. It is comfortable, it's got full adjustability to get the right position, and it's very sturdy despite being more towards the lower end of the market in pricing. I do fully recommend it to anyone considering buying one, particularly if you are not able to or don't want to spend the money on a more expensive setup.

As others have said, the assembly was very straight forward and I had it all ready to go in under an hour, including with the seat slider that I purchased additionally. It handily comes with all the tools you need (a couple of Allen keys) and even extra bolts for mounting the pedals. That part was the only bit that I had a little difficultly with, which was aligning the holes of the pedal plate to my pedal unit (g29) but for now I have attached it through the lower row of bolts only (there are 2 rows on this unit) and it feels very strong and secure.

Overall, a very happy customer!

After doing research and deciding on the Evolution there are no regrets. The seat just plain works. The seat is comfortable. The set up was easy, the Logitec G29 fits, though 2 holes for the pedal didn’t quite line up- no big deal. I share the seat with my kids and it takes seconds to change/adjust the seat for driver changes. We got the seat sliders as well and fell that completes the setup nicely.

First I would like to say this is my second playseat. My previous seat was the challenge i love this seat because it was foldable and it huge me. It was very comfortable. That said the playseat Evolution is very strong and sturdy and easy to assemble. The instructions was easy to follow. But take a little time getting ues to, the seat is wider and easy to get in and out of. I also love that you can adjust the pedals. Overall my racing lap times have decreased, i don't know if it's because of the new seat but i do think it probably because I am very comfortable. Love it!!

I was after a gaming seat to suit a rather unique set-up and the specification of the playseat evo looked (and is) perfect. The seat is comfortable for extended periods of time, the build quality is very good, no wobble or play in anything. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and it didn't take long to put together. Oh and it looks great.

On a side note I found the customer service team to be friendly and helpful.

When the 1st shipment arrived I think the Fed Ex Driver was more excited than me. I has able to put it together with a little help in less than 1 hour. The seat slider was a little tricky but got it done and it works like a charm.
I had ordered the mat but I didn't arrive with the 1st shipment, but was there the next day by the same Fed Ex driver. He was excited to know how I liked the seat, so I invited him in to check it out!
He loved the seat and mentioned that he did flight simulation and was gonna check out Playseat!
The mat really finished it all nicely and will save my flooring.

After many years of non playing video game, this year is a Reborn for me with E-racing. I was playing Gran Turismo, 20 years ago, and now i re discover Gran Turismo with a Playseat Evolution and a T300RS GT.
A New Era of video game is in front of me with this kind of equipment.
All the material is installed since 2 days, so it is a little bit too early to have a right opinion.
I already have ideas to upgrade my Playseat.

Cant believe the difference having this wheels makes. Times on the track are getting better and better and I was good on the controller before the wheel. I’ve been using the playseat for about 1 month now. Setting it up was straightforward and took me about 30 min. Thrustmaster T300rs could be mounted on it easily.
The racing experience got so much better with this Playseat. No more back- or legpain after multiple hours of racing. The seat barely moves while driving.
Materials used are very decent and durable. This is a one-time buy (until you want to upgrade ofcourse).
The seat can easily be adjusted from small kids to tall adults.

Very affordable and great value. I've played around with the Playseat Evolution Black for the last couple of days and I'm very pleased. The thing is very sturdy and does everything I want it to do.

The setup was also pretty straight forward and took no time at all. It's also easy to move the thing around and the seat can be adjusted forward so it takes up less space. If you want to take your driving games up to another level the Playseat Evolution is a no brainer.

The free shipping to Iceland was also a fantastic touch!

The seat arrived more promptly than expected. It was a little tricky to put together, I could have used an extra pair of hands. The seat slider made it harder but was worth it.
The driving position is good and my logitec wheel and pedals attach to it firmly.
The centre post impedes the brake pedal very slightly but thats a minor gripe.
I haven’t used it at length and I’m a heavy guy so can’t vouch to how it stands up yet but so far, i would recommend this product and i would buy it again.

I used to like driving games, now i absolutely love them.
First thing i have to say is the immersion and comfort you get from this product is worth every cent. I've never enjoying racing as much as I have had since my Playseat Evolution was delivered

Ordering and delivery were hassle free resulting in the seat being delivered before the expected delivery date.

The chair itself was surprisingly solid with the weight and build quality catching me off guard with how good it was. Putting together took very little time and with the G29 steering set I'm completely engrossed in the driving. I can't actually tell you anymore about the build or the quality that you won't find elsewhere other than i didn't find any bad reviews.

With that said the Playseat Evolution has by far improved my enjoyment with driving games and impressed anybody who has popped over to try it. Overall quality, comfort and design is top notch and you would not be disappointed by investing in one of these.

i've been debating if i should invest in a racing cockpit for several years. I finally decided to purchase the Evolution Alcantara and a G29 wheel. Setup was easy and i'm not the hands on type at all. Frame is very sturdy and all components are adjustable. The cockpit contains a bar down the center, i haven't had any issues with left foot or right foot braking, though right foot braking is more comfortable. Gaming in a racing cockpit definitely adds an awesome level of immersion, so if you are on a tight budget id definitely recommend the Evolution Alcantara + G29 setup :) Also i improved my lap times on GT Sport after 1 day of use ;) so that i'm super happy about :)

Going from a wheel stand to this is an absolute delight. I have a Logitech G29 and it works beautifully with it. Having the wheels and seat and pedals all braced together means you don't get the usual distractions of a wheel stand constantly trying to shift position.

When you get the box you will think "Well they forgot to pack something in here" because it is far too small to contain everything. I can only assume the guys at playseat store spend half their life in a sardine packing factory and the other half playing tetris, because from this small box emerged everything I ordered.

All the stuff is good quality and fits together well. Don't rush the build part, enjoy it. look at it like it is the best meccano set you will ever use.

Once built dont go strapping down all the wires to the frame straight away, have a few hours of getting used to it. I thought I had the perfect driving position but after playing for a couple of hours i tweaked it around, so best to get happy with the set up before you commit to where you run your wires.

If you get a shifter stand get the ones that attach down near the seat and not up by the wheel, it is a much more natural place for it to be.

I am 41, i should have grown out of stuff like this but I was grinning like an idiot on my first go. Love it.

So my husband wanted a playseat, but as I was purchasing it I got to choose the design. This seat is much more aesthetically pleasing than the bulky looking black version.

The only issue I have is that it’s so heavy. It is a Christmas present to my hubby, but currently it sat in the garage waiting as it’s too heavy for me to even move, let alone wrap! I’ll just have to leave it where it is and stick a bow on it for Christmas Day. I’m sure he won’t mind.

Anyway, value for money, this is fantastic, especially with the discount offered when you buy the seat and steering wheel together.

Really pleased with this purchase, I’m sure it will get me lots of wife points which will hopefully lead to new shoes and handbags!

If you need a better setup than your old desk, look no further!! I purchased this product with a little skepticism because I was not sure I would be able to fit comfortably for long periods of time. But after it arrived very fast and I set it up in less than 2 hours, I can happily report that all of my fears have been disproven! I can sit comfortably for hours at a time, and I am not a small man by any means. The adjustability is awesome and the amount of fun to be had with this rig is endless!!!

Being fifty two years of age, my family all laughed at me when they saw my Playseat assembled. After convincing each member in turn to have a go, their laughter changed to wide grins, some extreme leaning and a lot of shouting at the screen. The seat and steering wheel really enhances the driving experience which allows me to keep the speed off the road and write off the odd super car without the expense or pain. The seat itself is very well made, simple to assemble and easy to recommend.

What can I say? The quality of the 'evolution' in white is brilliant, the stitching under close inspection is brilliant, the instructions that came with the kit are damned easy to understand, it took me a few hours to put together because of checking to see if all the parts were there.. i needn't have worried as they all were there anyway.. i like the way it all folds away too when you've finished using it.. excellent piece of kit.. now i struggled at first trying to find pre drilled holes to fit my 'T3PA PRO' pedals styled the F1 way pushing forward and not the GT STYLE pushing down.. i finally managed to find ONE hole holding the pedal set on.. it is strong enough to hold on but would have preferred more 'HOLES' for it to bolt on to..10 out of 10 for the seat.. now the slider.. the instructions in the booklet to fit the slider to the seat show different 'holes' to where the screws fit which i found odd but managed to figure out where they went.. same again excellent piece of kit easy to install very happy with end results, the delivery was very quick indeed.. i ordered all this kit on friday night and received the parcel very early tuesday morning via a carrier.. outstanding.

My son already has an Xbox one and some racing games so I bought him this chair and a thrustmaster tx. I wanted to make sure that it work fine so it put it together while he was at school. I have to move everything around every day to hide it from him but it's not toor hard. I just put the pedals and steering wheel mount as low as possible and but the seat down. From there I can just push it into a closet. Overall this is such an amazing chair and I believe my son will love it.

The product overall is ok, the gaming experience is more realistic but the design is not the best, especially the central arm that holds the steering wheel, in fact, to be able to adjust the height you have to move the steering wheel back and forth so we might have the right height with the steering wheel too close or too far away.
Note that with the Logitech G29 is not possible to use the screws to lock it but we will use only the clamps on the steering wheel.

This is a great product - you genuinely feel like you are driving a race car. The seat was easy to assemble and the number of different adjustments that are possible mean that it really should work for everybody.
Just be aware that at the end of a day, it is a decent size and so storage needs to be thought about. It folds down well and I can reassemble it to use within about 5 minutes but it will take up space.
Totally worth the investment and am loving it....... even if my wife thinks it's all a bit silly :)

I was very impressed with the whole setup, the shipping was very quick and everything went together easily. There is enough adjustment to get the setup to fit although the only issue I have found is the mounting plate for the pedals only braces half of the Logitech G29 and there is a bit of flex.

I would definitely recommend this for anyone wanting a simulator for home.

I bought this for my son as he races open wheel race cars and he uses this inconjucntion with the Thrustmaster t300rs also bought from playseat. on the Project cars ps4 game. I was looking to purchase a force feedback wheel to use with my PS4.My last wheel was the microsoft force feeback on the 360 which i was pleased with.The main problem with todays wheels as with most things these days is the expense leaving the only option for those on a budget with the Thrustmaster t100(will review seperatley).
While hunting for the best price for the wheel i came across the playseat website and the seat/wheel combo deals.After allways wanting a setup that didnt require a coffee table too mount the wheel i took the plunge and i am so glad i did.
Purchased in white it looks awesome,easy to assemble and adjust although i will be looking into getting the seat sliders as well because by adjusting the wheel and pedals for reach on the frame means some of the lovely paint can get scratched.
Very sturdy,comfortable enough for longish sessions and adds so much to the feel of being in a real driving sim.
Excellent delivery and well packaged.
If you are thinking of getting a playseat stop thinking and just do.

Would like to have independant adjustment of wheel height and lenght as moving one you adjust the other.

Would be great to have a keyboard holder as accessory to add to the rig.

To be fully honest I bought my Playseat Evolution White about 3 months ago and it's the best thing I have ever spent my money on. I'm glued to it haha. I spend hours and hours on it ans when I get new car racing games for Xbox One I spend over 12 hours on this chair. It's absolutely amazing because I love getting as realistic as possible with car gaming and this chair really gives me the feeling if being in a car. The seat is nice a comfy and sporty looking, it's great that it can be adjusted for leg length and arm.length and when I'm playing forza I really really love it. I could spend hours just sitting or sleeping on the chair. I'm so happy I finally bought one.

Great gaming chair, well construct and reliable. I've read some reviews before buying this chair, and lots of people were afraid of the steering bar (The tube that goes between your legs). At first i was afraid that the "Steering tube" would be in the way. No it's not in the way at all (at least for me). Great choice, beautiful chair and really strong. I don't regret my choice. If i have to buy another one i'll surely go with the Playseat.

Love this seat. Comfortable and immersive, a much better playing experience than regular stands or just sticking the wheel to a table. Foot peddles stay firmly in place and no longer move about. Although the price is a little steep the quality is great. Very happy with my purchase and no regrets.

Pleasant to the touch. Convenient when seated properly (if you keep your back crooked, it immediately becomes uncomfortable, that reminds you to keep your back properly).
There were small assembly defects, but they were easy to fix.

I chose the white edition of the Evolution because I think it looks better. It has this cool racing vibe. At first I was afraid the white would become dirty but you can wash it. I got a Logitech G27 together with the Evolution and it really makes you feel like you’re in a car.
